Shabu shabu is generally served with a number of sauces, each portioned individually for easy dipping on the side. This simple mix for shabu shabu sesame mustard sauce is unbelievably easy.

Simple ingredients you will need:
- soy sauce
- hot dijon mustard
- sesame oil
- sesame seeds
This should do it for one person. Whip (stir) everything into a liquidy paste and dip away! Of course, if I can do it, so can you!
Shabu Shabu Mustard Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hot dijon mustard seeds or not
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sesame seed
Instructions
- Add all ingredients together in a small bowl.
- Stir or whisk together until smooth. Should be thick but still quite liquidy.
- Eat with your favorite meat in teppanyaki or shabu shabu!
