1tspcrushed red chilis or korean red chili powder(or, to taste) for image
Dressing
1tbsprice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
2tspsesame oil
salt and pepperto taste
sesame seeds, white and/or blackgarnish and texture
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine all chopped vegetables and mix together.
In a small bowl or jar, mix wet ingredients together.
Combine dressing into vegetable mix and stir together thoroughly.
Let sit in for minimum 15 minutes to an hour until vinegar flavour runs through cabbage and softens up mixture.

Tons of optional ingredients in here. I've done it with red pepper, red onion, chili peppers or jalapeno..the key ingredients are cabbage, kimchi, carrots and sesame. As compared to a "regular" coleslaw, the major substitutions are in the vinegar and choice of oil. I've never done this with a mayo/cream base, but as I type this out, that sounds pretty tasty as well.
