Donair Pizza Recipe

Middle-eastern and Italian come together in a perfect fusion of sweet, savory, meat and veg.

Ingredients
  

Donair Sauce

  • 1 can condensed milk 12 oz
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic or, 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp crushed red chili pepper optional

Pizza Ingredients

  • 1 cup mozzarella shredded
  • ½ cup white onion thinly sliced
  • ½ cup mushrooms favorite - white, brown, cremini, etc - thin sliced
  • ½ cup black olives optional
  • ½ cup cherry tomato halved
  • ½ cup donair meat or roast beef
  • fresh basil for garnish
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Donair Sauce

  • In a small bowl, open 1 can condensed milk.
  • Add vinegar, garlic and red chili pepper (optional)
  • Mix thoroughly. Store covered in fridge for 1+hours prior to use.

Pizza

  • On rolled out pizza dough, slather on some of that donair sauce.
  • Distribute pizza toppings all over, like you would any pizza toppings (add or subtract as you feel necessary)
  • Sprinkle cheese all over.
  • Bake 15-25 minutes, as required, until dough slightly crisps up and cheese is melted.
  • Garnish with fresh basil.
  • Let stand 3-5 minutes prior to serving. ENJOY!
